Pontiac Pump Gas Street Engine Combinations

When building a killer Pontiac pump gas street engine, we feel that the combination of parts tends to be even more critical. The parts need to match and compliment each other in order to optimize performance. When building a Pontiac engine, the selection of cylinder heads, camshaft, and intake are critical to building the right combination and making maximum power from off idle to redline. Having access to a Superflow 901 dynamometer for engine break in and tuning helps us get the most out of your combination in a very cost effective and thorough manner.

461 cid Pontiac engine can be built with a stock Pontiac block or an MR-1 aftermarket block. Engine uses a Crower hydraulic flat tappet cam, PRO Sport Cast Crankshaft, PRO Sport 6.625 rods, Federal Mogul rod and main bearings, Durabond cam bearings, Melling Oil pump, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, 850 Qjet carburetor, 1 3/4 header, Rhodes lifters, 85 cc KRE Aluminum D port heads (stock NO PORT WORK!) with total timing set at 31 deg!
