K&N Style Pontiac Tripower Air Filters

Description

These are our K&N style FAST Air Filters for Pontiac Tri-powers. These replacement air filters are designed to increase horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent filtration. The filters are washable and reusable and are custom designed to fit all Pontiac Tri-power systems with a 5.50” OD base. See specific fitment below.  Filters have an outside diameter of 5.50” and an inside diameter of 4.50”.  Please note that there is NO OIL required for these air filters!  Sold as a set of 3 filters.

These filters will work with:

•  Stock 1966 Tri-powers with Rochester 2bbls
• Tin Indian Performance Fi Tech EFI Tri-power system
• 1966 Holley (350 and 500 cfm carb) Tri-power for Pontiac

** Testing has shown a 2.4 ft lbs of torque and5.9 horsepower gain in our testing on a 550 is horsepower 461 cid Pontiac with 85 cc KRE D port heads, 290 cfm port work, Tin Indian Performance custom ground hyd roller cam and of course the custom AED Tri-power on an KRE Tradewind Tri-power intake.  Video of the test can be found here:
