SD Pontiac Cam Plate

This is our “Super Duty” camshaft plate kit. The SD Camshaft Plats are offered in 3 different thickness now.  Approximately .125″,  .124, and .122 thick and are machined with an anti-cavitation / anti-gall groove with a slotted oil drain back.  The plates are precision ground to be flat with the engine block and the cam mounting hardware (both sides are surface ground!).  This is A MAJOR improvement over the plates that came on stock Pontiac engines.  This SD Pontiac Camshaft Plate will fit all MR-1 aftermarket blocks as well as stock Pontiac blocks.

This part is a must use part for ALL performance applications! The kit comes with the TIP-011-SD Camshaft Plate, 2 grade 8 split lock washers and 2 new grade 8 bolts.

Most of the stock cam plates we have measured over the years are .1255 to .1245 (nominal .125)  With all of the aftermarket parts available these days, we have found the need for a variety of thickness of plates.
