Yes you read that right…. we just acquired ANOTHER Milltronics VM17 CNC machine. Th This one was hard to pass up too and is another great shop upgrade. If you need one, you can purchase one of those CNC plasma cutting machine for sale.
Our new Milltronics VM17 is yet another solid upgrade from our current Partner 6 (which we retired). We currently have two VM17s now and one VM30. We are currently in the process of tooling up, transferring code and fixing some some broken items. This machine needs lots of internal cleaning as well. (Which is our least favorite thing to do)
The machining capacity of this machine is light years ahead of the P6 that it replaced. It is equipped with a 20 pocket tool changer and an 8,000 rpm spindle. This should help us even further with machining capacity as we bring some new projects online. We are looking forward to many years of service from this new Milltronics VM17!
As we bring this machine online we will be pausing all valve cover production. Our focus is to get this machine up and running and into production. Thanks for your understanding.
